The Pazo do Faramello together with the International Foundation for the Restoration of Ecosystems (FIRE) started since 2015, with the support of the City Council of Rois, an action aimed at eliminating the invasive species, basically eucalyptus and black acacia, which threatened the native ecosystem and proceed to the repopulation of more than three thousand species of chestnut, carballo, holly, hazel, alder, arbutus and royal laurel.

 

This action is carried out entirely in land of free access of the Pazo.
